Meaghan, we love you more than you can fathom. And we are here for you - always. Even when you don't necessarily want us to be ... because you are SO worth it.
She is so beautiful ... and thought she assumes herself to be quite grown-up ... she is still a little girl inside. We are trying desperately to have her hold on to that.
It makes perfect sense to me that this brings tears to your eyes. You are very intuitive ... and there is some deep meaning behind this post. I had tears in my eyes as I created it. Meg has been through ALOT ... and has not been able to just enjoy her childhood. We have tried to be her "port in a storm" and hope she will continue to come to us when she is in need. We love her deeply and want the best for her.
It blows me away how much Meg looks like she could be you and Halis' biological child. How wonderful of you to be her family, then and now, and forever.
