I wish that I didn't even have to refer to this recent article from another blogger ... but it is a MUST read for anyone who wants safe toys for their children, who believes in buying local and handmade, and who supports creative economies rather than the "big box" stores.

oh dear. that is terrible. if you draft a letter to send to your congressmen, will you send a copy to me that i could use as a template to send to mine. i am not involved personally in the handmade goods but am very disturbed about what this law would mean to many i know and to our country.
Perla - I am sorry that I let this comment slip past me. I already sent my letter in and did not keep a copy. UGH! I will see what I can dig up though.
